Made-to-measure blinds in Białystok

We choose and fit blinds that make a real difference to comfort at home – screening the room when you need it and letting in exactly as much light as you want. On-site measuring and a quote at no charge.

Venetian blinds (aluminium and wooden)

Venetian blinds are a classic that simply works. With tilting slats you decide how much light to let in – you can soften the harsh afternoon sun or shut the room off completely, all without touching your curtains. They're a great fit for the kitchen and bathroom in particular, as they shrug off moisture and are easy to wipe clean.

For customers in Białystok and the surrounding area we offer two main material options, and they usually set the whole mood of a room.

Aluminium blinds

Light, hard-wearing and moisture-resistant – aluminium won't warp from steam or sunlight. It's a sensible choice for utility rooms and anywhere you want a clean, no-fuss look. Available in several slat widths and a wide range of colours, so they'll suit white frames just as well as wood-effect windows.

Wooden blinds

Wood brings a warmth that aluminium can't match. The natural grain of the slats suits the living room, bedroom or study, and sits beautifully alongside wooden floors. It's the more decorative option – it looks superb against large glazed areas. If you're planning to replace your windows along with the shading, take a look at our uPVC window range and we'll coordinate the whole lot for you.

Vertical blinds (verticals)

Vertical blinds, or verticals, are upright fabric vanes that you rotate on their axis and draw to one side. They're at their best on wide windows, corner glazing and balcony doors – the kind of openings where a Venetian blind would be awkward to operate.

Their strength lies in flexible light control and in clearing the way to a balcony or terrace with ease. Tilt the vanes when you only want to take the edge off the light, or slide the whole set aside when you step outside.

  • Fabrics: from sheer, gently diffusing weaves through to heavy blackout – chosen to suit what the room is used for.
  • Vane width: usually 89 mm and 127 mm; the wider vanes look calmer on large windows.
  • Operation: chain and cord control, with an optional motorised version.

Verticals work well in offices and studies, but we just as happily fit them in living rooms with a large patio window. It's a practical solution that runs quietly.

Façade blinds (external)

Façade blinds are fitted on the outside, in front of the glass, and that's the key difference from internal shading. They stop the sun before it heats the glass, so the room doesn't turn into a greenhouse in summer. In practice that means less stuffy afternoons and less work for the air conditioning.

In the Podlasie climate, where summers can be fierce and winters bitter, a screen like this earns its keep both ways. In the heat it protects against overheating, while lowered slats add a layer of air against the glass, which helps cut heat loss on colder days.

What you gain with a façade blind

  • Protection against overheating – it reflects the sun's rays outwards before they warm the interior.
  • Light control – tilting slats give a smooth transition from full daylight to shade.
  • Privacy – you can see out, but no one can see in from the street.
  • Façade aesthetics – a modern look that pairs well with large glazed areas.

Façade blinds are an investment for years to come, which is why we always carry out the measuring and choose the guide system (in tracks or on cables) on site, on the actual window. If you're also considering full blackout, compare them with our roller blind range – we'll advise which suits your elevation better.

Control and fitting

You can operate your blinds in several ways – from the simplest cord to control from your phone. We match the option to how often and from where you'll use the shading, and to whether the window is easy to reach.

Manual control

Cord, chain or crank handle. An inexpensive, reliable and proven solution – the most common choice for individual windows in a home. It needs no power supply and no setting up.

Automatic control

An electric motor operated by remote, a wall switch or an app. Handy for hard-to-reach windows, large glazed areas and façade blinds. They can also be linked into a smart home system and set to respond to the time of day or the amount of sunlight.

How fitting works

First a free on-site measure – we come out, check the windows and advise on the type of blind and the way it's fixed. Then we prepare a free quote. Once you've approved it, we order the shading made to measure and arrange expert fitting. We handle transport too, and once it's done there's after-sales care – if anything ever needs adjusting, we're on hand.

We work locally in Białystok and the surrounding area, so travel, fitting and any servicing are sorted without needless delay. Fitting is possible in winter as well – blinds don't involve any wet work, so the time of year is no obstacle.

Frequently asked questions

How much do blinds cost in Białystok?
The price depends on the type (Venetian, vertical or façade), the window dimensions, the slat material and the way they're controlled. Aluminium blinds are the cheapest, while wooden and façade blinds cost more. We give an exact price after a free measure – the quote is precise and with no obligation.
How quickly can you fit blinds?
First we arrange a free on-site measure, then we order the shading made to measure. The lead time depends on the type of blind and our current workload – we set a firm fitting date when we give the quote, so we never over-promise.
Do you fit façade blinds in winter?
Yes. Fitting blinds doesn't involve any wet work, so we carry it out in winter too. With façade blinds the team matches the fixings to the conditions on the elevation, so the installation is durable whatever the season.
What's the difference between a façade blind and an internal one?
A façade blind is fitted on the outside of the window and stops the sun before it heats the glass – which makes it an effective guard against the interior overheating. An internal blind controls light and privacy, but by then the glass has already warmed up.
